The gas terminal type E was developed in the years between 1978 to 1984 due to the introduction of DIN 13260-2. Before 1984 the first gas terminals of this design were already brought into operation at the request of the customers. With these extraction point type E all gass-conveying parts are made of metal. An integrated sintered filters protects the subsequent seals, connection fittings and patients against pollution from the supply system. While disengage the connection armatures this is held in park position compulsorily to prevent a drop out of the valve.
